I remember being a kid, playing the original Far Cry game when it was released in 2004. A game that was too bloody according to my parents, so I wasn't really allowed to play it, but did so anyway of course. Many years later I got to be a part of the "Far Cry world" when working on the VES nominated commercial for the 6th game. For this project I mainly worked with look development and texturing for various props, both small and large. I used Substance Painter, Houdini and Arnold.
